New Report: Escondido Wastes $millions on golf course, but can’t save our library. Attend Council on October 24th, 4:30
A new analysis out today shows just how badly the majority of the Escondido City Council mismanages city tax dollars. While outsourcing the library ‘to save money’, the Council was subsidizing millions of dollars to a golf course that runs in the red. It is also interesting how much worse the JC Resorts contract is with Escondido than with other cities for the same kind of services. The Mayor and Council apparently don’t know how to negotiate contracts which are beneficial to residents. Attend the Council meeting on Wednesday, October 24th at 4:30 to let the Council know you object to this kind of corporate subsidy and these contracts.
