In July 2016, the Board of the Jackson County Library District issued a Request for Proposals seeking a consultant to conduct an organizational review and an audit of the workload and performance of the Jackson County Library System. The purpose of the review was to determine how the services delivered by the District and its contractor, Library Systems & Services, LLC, measure up under the Standards for Oregon Public Libraries (OLA Standards), as well as other generally accepted standards for library operations.
